Truth springs from argument, and new ideas come from discussion.
#begintimesteam have gathered again to hold another brainstorming session. On the agenda is a discussion of fresh ideas for IT-implementation, unusual topics for business expansion, and simply the development of imagination, as well as live communication.

In the era of rapid technological transformations, it is more relevant than ever to find solutions that can simplify and improve life. We believe that each of us can contribute to this process. Our second training on design thinking was conducted by business analyst Tatyana Kutynko.

For idea generation, we chose brainwriting, or written brainstorming. Participants write down their ideas on paper and then pass them to others, who add comments, suggestions, or modifications. This helps prevent individual participants from dominating the discussion and encourages a diversity of thoughts. We also used the “Forced Connections” game and “Dot Voting.” The format is a game, based on the ‘snowball principle’: I come up with an idea, you continue. And so on, until the ‘snowman’ is ready.

What have we discussed?
☑ Current user needs: what do people need today - from mobile applications to online services? It is important for us to see the world through their eyes.
☑ Technological trends: what to study and teach to change the business picture: new technologies and platforms, AI, blockchain, cloud solutions?
☑ Social responsibility: how can our ideas not only generate profit, but also make the world a better place?
☑ Monetization model: how to turn ideas into successful and sustainable business models?

The result of our training: more than 10 unique ideas, both simple and understandable to everyone, and exclusive to fintech. From unusual hobbies to crypto asset management. Each idea is accompanied by a precise formulation of the concept, advantages, and most importantly - ideas for obtaining business advantages in the market.

Design thinking 2.0 was easy, fun and productive. We also added voting to the idea generation, determined the top 3 and were seriously inspired! To be continued...
