For sure, the main event of this autumn in the sphere of Belarusian fintech is the XX International Forum on Banking Information Technologies "BANKIT-2024". Hundreds of representatives of banks, financial institutions, software development companies and IT-specialists gathered together in the capital's President Hotel. The forum provided participants with the opportunity to discuss current issues in the field of financial technologies, exchange experience and knowledge, and find partners for joint projects. Two busy days of plenary sessions, round tables and acquaintance with new products and services at the presentation stands of companies helped to get acquainted with plans, trends and development strategies in the field of banking.

The organizers of the event - the National Bank of the Republic of Belarus and the Association of Belarusian Banks - paid special attention to priority areas within the framework of interstructural cooperation, including joint lawmaking.

The most popular topics of the forum: issues of cybersecurity monitoring, protection of customer and bank data from cyberattacks, implementation of bioacquiring, as well as the use of blockchain technologies in the banking sector. Participants discussed the opportunities and risks of using innovations, and shared their skills in these topics.

The presentations of foreign colleagues were a useful experience - from the implementation and development of artificial intelligence to effective management practices in IT-companies.
